Steph made reservations to stay at a traditional African "rondavel" at a place called the Tower of Pizza, just outside of the Royal Natal National Park (no pets are allowed in the park). Yes, there really is a tower where oven-fired pizza is made. We could not wait to taste the food - it was like heaven for me. This is a photo of the entrance to the restaurant which also serves as the b&b reception area.

We were given the keys to our rondavel and pulled our car up to the door. In this photo, Steph and Sasha are getting comfortable while admiring the view.

A rondavel is an African hut. Truth be told, the one where we stayed was a westernized version - electricity, ceiling fan, coffee service, etc. It was spacious, tidy, comfortable, and not too expensive (~$80 a night).
The grounds of the area were nice, and Steph took some pictures while I was napping.
